Please no troll posts. What's the best way to uninstall Norton AntiVirus 2003? The uninstaller is half finished, as if they only cared about getting the product to the market than finishing it. I keep getting the error message, "Your virus definitions are not up to date". I run LiveUpdate daily, yet it still gives me that message. I am thinking it does not download anything. I recently found 2 viruses, one that will steal online game passwords, the other, I think will download other viruses. However, they were hidden in some mp3 files, and did not realize they were located in them until iTunes tried moving them. I had Norton AntiVirus auto protect on. The question is, could I still have this virus? Could my data be compromised? I've tried scanning, but it picks up nothing else

Yes some viruses are nearly impossible to trace or get rid of.

Uninstalling manually does not work. The uninstaller will leave behind some programs, leave hundreds of registry keys unused, and a error message saying Norton Antivirus is corrupted.
