Well, on my legs, and on the back sides of my calves have been getting these HORRIBLE cramps. Only when I go to bed, but it's almost every night. I'm a pretty active girl and I run a lot, and partake in sports. Why do you think I'm getting these cramps and how do I make them stop?

Don't sleep with your legs bent. That's the main cause usually.

Maybe your not stretching before being active in sports and stuff. And maybe stretch before bed or something.

Yeah. They're horrible. They last anywhere from a minute to five, and they hurt like no other. My mom told me to eat more bananas. :/

You need to stretch more and drink more water. See a doctor if it lasts... You could have restless leg syndrome. I have something similar to that. I have to take muscle relaxants before I go to bed.
