-- Posted by 2kewl4u2know at 10:04 pm on Oct. 4, 2008 I FINALLY got out and had some fun.  I took my friend with me to Latenite (for which she was grateful to get her mind off personal issues) and we had a lot of fun: - ate pizza - painted a ceramic to get heated and magnetized and ready for pick-up next weekend - had our hands dipped in wax and made models of - met a friend of my friends and a friend she brought with her and talked with them for a long while in the hall - went to dance with them (it was bad dancing, but hey, who cares?) - came back to my dorm for some relaxation It was great.     ANDDDDDD...I had my first monster tonight, which was good, but I think it's making me sick right now     So, how was ya'lls night? -- Posted by alexisdanielle at 10:06 pm on Oct. 4, 2008 Thats awesome. :) Did the wax hands hurt? I saw that somewhere and wanted to do it, but was to scared to. Sorry about your friend, they do that sometimes unfortunately... But it was weird, first we smeared lotion on our hands, then dipped the hand we wanted into a buck of ice-cold water for like 30 seconds to a minute (to numb it but it was like sharp needles jabbing my skin    ).  Then, it was immediately put in a tub of wax and they would repeatedly dip it in until it was thick enough.  Next, you move to the tub where the cut it off and spray cold water into the mold to get it off and harden it quicker.  Next you tell them what color you want it, they dip the mold in the color, then in some more ice-water and viola!  A wax-model hand.     -- Posted by dumb whore at 12:33 pm on Oct. 9, 2008 Holy crap we had late nite here the night before school started.
