I'm on yaz bc and my period started like a week after my last one, I was nowhere near the placebos. I thought it may have been because I missed one day from being really sick and in bed and well, when your that sick it's hard to remember things like that. The directions said to just take it as soon as you remember and continue on with the pack, so I did. And my period happened. So I figure it's just a freak thing no big deal, continue on with it, but now, it's going to be the 15th day of my period tomorrow. It started two weeks ago. I'm just wondering whats going on... I'm not pregnant because I haven't had sex... and plus I think I would be experiencing the opposite if I was pregnant. Is this just a freaky super period or do i need to get this checked out?

probably the best to go to a docter, tommorow. that is if you still have it.

Starting birth control can give you breakthrough bleeding... It's not necessarily youre period, but most likely just a side effect of starting the bc. It can last for a few months. Is it like your normal period?

yes it is exactly, don't mean to be gross but the same color/flow and everything. And I've been on the BC for a good 7 months now. This has never happened before. I thought it was because I missed the one pill but it was only for 8-10 hours, that shouldn't start my period should it?

im in the SAME exact boat as you. It happens.. Ive had it happen before. I would stop it for a week and restart it.
