Hi.

I'm working for the Disney Store and they said that they want me all in black, and no Levi's. Does that mean...jeans? So I can't wear black "denim-like" material?

Sorry if this seems ignorant btw.

Just wear dress pants then ask.

Beats me. I think they just don't want a giant logo on your butt. Do what Ultima suggested. Wear dress pants for the first day (unless the problem is that you don't own any!) and then go from there.

I wore khaki-colored jeans when I worked at Food Lion.
they never knew the difference.

I have no idea really, because my "jeans" don't have a big logo on them or anything. Just pockets.

I don't own any. Think walmart might have some?

Yeah, walmart would have some for sure.

You might be fine wearing the pants if they don't have a visible logo on them. I mean, it'll be your first day regardless, so they can't hold it against you too much.

Nah, don't risk it for your first day. Just wear dress pants.

They never go out of fashion so it won't hurt to have a pair of black dress pants around anyway, for another occasion.

I kind of threw all my black pants away because i went to a uniformed school, and it was kind of... a relief. :/

If they say they do not want you to wear Levi's they do mean that they don't want you to wear jeans. Generally "jeans" are classified as a denim-type material (of any color) with back pokets that are non-hidden.

levis=denim. black denim might be ok..but i wouldnt risk it, certainly not on your first day.
