My dad has smoked around me all my life and now the smoking is taking effect. I've been having trouble breath and i get out of breath really easy. What should i do the doctor that i would always go to, won't take me because i'm "above the age limit" (I'm 18) I went to the community clinic and they said that they're not taking any "new" clients for the next 2 months. Those Asswipes. What to do???

Help.

It is, but I don't think it's as high. Lol, I actually try to be around people who smoke. I like the scent.

Don't you watch the commercials?

You're at a higher risk at getting cancer 2nd hand then being the actual smoker.

Yes, you have more of a risk of getting cancer from second hand smoke then the smoker does. Cause the smoker has the filter, but second hand smoke is all the chemicals without a filter.

Secondhand smoke is just as deadly as firsthand.

I know there is a definite risk but I'm not sure the stats or anything.  Maybe try looking for a new doctor.  In our insurance book they have a list of doctors who will take our insurance and they accept a wide variety.

Theres a higher risk

lol I dont buy that shit that its just as likely or moreso than the smoker themselves. You dont inhale as many chemicals and it takes first hand smokers years to develop cancer so I think you're safe

very small chance.
you can get lung cancer without ever getting secondhand smoke, too though.
