I used to weigh 286 pounds and I'm scared to death of gaining the weight back. The more i think about it the more stressed out i get and that makes me wanna eat even more

Just eat the healthier option of the fatter option. You don't have to stick to leafs and greens. Oven cook fries, veggie burgers. Use the low fat version of what you like, etc. You can eat junk, but as long as you don't eat it every day; maybe once a month? Exercise too and you should be fine.
