If I had reason to believe that a certain member was making anonymous hate topics about me, telling other members that I'm a pedophile, and some other things, what could I do to get this to stop? I don't have any real proof, but I'm almost certain of who it is. Should I wait until it happens again and then report it so the mods can investigate it?

Are you a pedophile? Kidding. Just wait for the person to make the topic again and then report it.

Does the anonymous person message you?

no.

Not having proof is a real dilemma. But you could message a mod and give a name. And then that mod could just watch out for that user. If a member specifically calls you out and puts your name on it, then it will be blatantly obvious. They can't just breach the anonymous feature but if you provide links to previous topics in question and it calls for harassment, maybe thats good enough reason to see who is posting them.

there's no real need for you to prove who it is just go to those topics and report them as harassment

If a member is making a harrassing anonymous topic the mods can most certainly look at see who it is. no proof required. Just a quick look, and they can warn the member, because that is an abuse of the anonymous feature.
