depression sucks, we all know that, but over the past year or so, I was using drugs to cope with it, to escape from reality. I got caught a few weeks ago, and after going through withdrawal and shit, I'm still craving badly, and I'm even more depressed than I was before. I need something to keep me occupied, to get away from where I am now, a new way of coping. any ideas?

Just try to find a hobby dude. Try taking up photography, learn how to draw, play some video games, go for a jog... possibilities are endless. You just gotta find something that interests you and takes your mind off of drug use

I'm off drugs. I run, and play drums almost 24/7 but nothing seems to help.

go back to the doctors, tell them that and get on some anti-depressants or something

My doc doesn't know about the drugs, my parents know about the drugs, not so much the depression. my family is a medical wreck right now, i feel like i cant add on another problem to it. they dont even know the whole story about the drugs, all they know is weed, and i barely even did weed.

I cant stand to be the failure/wreck. I feel like I have to be there for everyone and i cant let them down...
