ok so does anyone know if it goes off when you close it or does it stay on
or does i mind bending genie come out and spoil your produce

It goes off. There is a button that the door presses when it closes that shuts off the light.

there is a little lever on the top of the fridge that gets pushed when you close the door, and stays off until you open it.

It goes off, silly. If you close it slowly, you can see that.
