I'm 13 and I want to lose some weight <_> Actually, alot. I weigh 210 and I really want to get down to like 130 or whatever seems more realistic. I just want to know how to lose that weight before the end of the year or sooner(would be nice)

damn kid, no offence, but your a fat ass! im 16 and i weigh 159! its the middle of october, so your not gonna be able to lose 80 in 2 1/2 months, it would just be unhealthy. but what you can do is start eating healthier, and dont eat as much, and if you can, just drink water. by eating better your body will slowly look better. at night do some exercises before you go to bed. and cut down on any snacks.

I think it's a really good thing that you want to loose weight.  Being healthy as a younger person is very important and usually helps people maintain a healthy lifestyle through their adult years.

Firstly, replace all drinks with water.  Eat real fruit, not fruit juice or fruit chews or anything.  REAL fruit.  It will help with sugar cravings and give you lots of vitamins!

Also, talk to your doctor about a work out routine.  I'm not sure what areas you need to focus on most.  Going for 30 minute walks every day helps me a lot.  Plus, it's a great way to get some alone time and gives you a chance to clear your head.

Tell your parents about your diet and lifestyle change so that they can support you.  Ask them not to tempt you with things you shouldn't be eating and do your best to avoid salt and sweets.  Reward yourself every meal you go without eating something unhealthy.
