Ok, well..I started college in August. At first, it was so awesome. It was so great to be out from under my parents roof and do my own things.

Here lately, everything seems to be going wrong. One of my loans didnt go through and I wasnt notified, so I cant do my schedule for next semester because I have holds because about..$1500 dollars is owed. How in the world am I going to be able to come up with that in about..two months??

So, I decided, I live about 45 mins away from the campus, and was thinking of moving home. The only problem is I would have to share a room with my sister. Well, apparently, she says, if I move back in and she has to share a room, shes moving out. This kinda hurts, I mean..Im her big sister, Ive always been there.

Everyone says college is supposed to be the greatest experience of your life..it doesnt seem like it..

How is everyone dealing with the stress of being in college?

It's going quite well with me.  All of my financials were straightened out at the beginning and I have to be notified if anything happens with it, so it's all good.  And I go to talk to my advisor about classes in two weeks.  Also, I love not living at home.  It's so much less stress here.  Lastly, at the moment, I don't have a roommate, so it's nice (although that'll change soon apparently    ).

With the state of the economy I think it's your own fault for assuming your loan would work out. You could always drop out for a year and come back when you're in a stronger financial position, or you could tough it out.

Seems like a waste of money to live on campus 45 minutes from a house...
