I want a job and finally my parents are allowing me to get one!

Though, I'm not sure where to start. (I have no experience except volunteering if that counts?)
Can you guys give me some ideas of a good place to start your first job? Also any tips or anything I should watch out for?

I rather not work as a waitress because I'm one of the biggest klutz ever and I'd surely get fired from that job if I ever get it.
:)

I'm 16.

Start somewhere with a lot of employee's thats the places that are most likely to hire teens.

Like retail stores or grocery stores. Those types of places. I got hired at a retail store with no previous job experience; you've got to start somewhere.

you cant be a waitress unless youre over 18 because of the alcohol serving policies. my first job was at papa johns
and then i got discovered to be a model by dwight agnor. and then i hated modeling so i worked as a lifeguard at a water park. and now im an associate at american eagle.

My first job was working in chemistry Lab. I loved it, mainly because of my boss. She was dope! ^^
