I had friends in the room next to us, and I promptly moved the bed so they didn't have to hear it. I didn't realize the bed was hitting the wall until they said something, but after we moved it it was fine. The bed noise can't be helped, really.  These frames are horribly squeaky, and I think they have bunks so it's not so easy to move those away from the walls.  It probably wouldn't have been noticeable if it weren't for the fact that I was reading so I had all other noises turned off.
