Really it's who you are !!! I mean if I had a lisp i would embrace it but I odn't have a first language ... so when I mess up somehting in english and people make fun of me I have an excuse.

so what kind of lisp is it? the stereotypical gay lisp (which i found out first hand that straight guys can have it too, a friend of my mom's is straight and has it) or it it a generic 'pronounce s as th' lisp?

I speak sorta funny, too. I'm deaf in 1 ear so it makes it harder for me to communicate. Most people would laugh and say I talk like a 3-year-old

I had one too when I was very young.  I went to speech therapy in 2nd grade.  I don't need to think about it now, but certain phrases are more difficult for me to say now.

We have a street that's North East 8th Street.  I find that still difficult to say. ;d
