I think I'm going to make myself get counseling.

I've been thinking for a few weeks about calling and making an appointment at my university's Counseling and Health Center, but I haven't done it yet.  I think I'm going to make myself call on Monday.

I'm kind of scared to.  I'm scared I'll go and it will be useless.  And I'm scared I'll go and they'll determine something is really wrong with me.

And I'm scared I'll go and become Crazy Girl Who Needs Counseling.  I'm having a hard enough time making friends without becoming Crazy Girl Who Needs Counseling.

Idk.  Idk.

A decent counsellor wont think of you as "crazy girl" and nobody else who is going to judge you need know about it.
Good luck, counselling isnt for everyone but i hope it works out for you

Well, tell us first what you need the counseling for.

Well, tell us first what you need the counseling for.

I just went through a long, difficult break up.

I'm thinking of transferring back to the better university I came from.

I can be really bad with people sometimes.

Other issues.

Those issues are all things a counsellor can help a great deal with, if you're open with them, they're good and the method matches your personality. It's worth a shot though, if it might help, isn't it? Even as a last-ditch attempt at finding some solutions.

As for the crazy-girl image, nobody will know unless you tell them ... or they see you go in. Either way it's not a big deal and if that stops people becoming friends with you then you're really not missing out on anything from people like that. There's a lot of anonymity around you as well from the counsellor.

At least keep considering the advantages!
