i haven't cut for weeks. i don't think i can control myself anymore i just want some1 to strap me down and save me from myself, i want to go deeper, cut more, i want to savour the taste, i am becomming scared of myself. i have tried everything but the thoughts keep bombarding me, i need to stop myself...
   

i know i should tell sum1 but i can't trust any1 not even a councilor (trust issues)...

HELP!!

How are you feeling now?

To be honest, I think it's important that you work on the reasons behind the cutting. Why do you want to cut? What's making you feel so bad? If you could perhaps explain some of that, we could try working on those issues. Working on the issues behind the cutting can help a great deal when it comes to stopping.

erm... i feel hopeless and useless, i can't concentrate at school any more and i am constantly tired so i am getting by on sheer luck, i am a failure i can't do anthing right.

Hi, this is a reply from a member called MiaBia.


I know how hard it is to stop.
It's how you've learned to cope, and finding a new (healthier) coping mechanism is difficult, to say the least.

Remember the reason you STOPPED cutting. Make sure you always know how important it is for you to not cut.

Think of yourself as your best friend.
Would you call your best friend a failure?
No.
You would not.
So treat yourself better.
Look in the mirror and compliment something, like your hair, or your eyes.

When people compliment you, accept the compliment and recognize it.
Be kind to yourself!!!!
