What's a good amount of RAM to have in a laptop? I'm wondering if I should upgrade from the standard 2 gigs if I get a Macbook or if that's plenty.

I have 3gb. Does me fine :)

At least 2gb. I'd go for 3, or even 4, though.

My laptop has 4, but it seems like over kill sometimes.

2 is generally enough, dunno about Macbooks though. If you've got the money to spare to upgrade, then go for it, but I don't think it's a necessity really.
