Finally, nearly two months after my accident I bought a new car. It's 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. It's spacious, sleek, has low mileage, get's decent gas mileage (About 24 mpg) and it came with a system in it. My question is, what's your opinion on it? Does it look alright? Here's some pics:

Don't care for the color, but that's just preference. Awesome for a car that you bought on your own, though! Good job!

It's not my taste. But if it's what you like; great.

Not for me. I like speed and performance

I like, I like. Chevies are pretty good, although, I would've picked a Ford F250 over that, or even the Chevy truck. But if you need some decent space, you've got the right idea. Cept that's not a car, it's an SUVish thing.

That's what I was thinking. Do you need something that large?

BTW: 24MPG is shit

I don't really like big bulky cars/trucks but that looks alright.

that does not get 24mpg... nice car though

Also, my mom got her a new car about a week ago from the same dealership, and got an incredibly good deal on it. It doesn't look that bad... It's a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica. It's like a mixture between a mini van and an SUV.

Actually it does when you don't drive 100mph everywhere. I drive about 60 on average, so I get between 22-25 mpg.

As long as you can justify the expense of an suv its ok.

Yes. I need all the room I can get. I'm a big roadtrip person, so I needed something I can fit me and my friends in comfortable on long rides, so I figured a tahoe would be a good choice. And it was in my price range, so...

but isn't there a car that has enough room, but has a good or better mileage?

I'm not all that concerned about gas mileage. My company pays for it, so it's not coming out of my pocket. And as far as the whole "car" thing. I've drove cars in general since I was 16. Besides my Nissan XTERRA, that's all I've ever owned. I don't like cars all that much. They're too low to the ground, and you can't go mud bogging with them.

Very nice. Not a fan of that generation though.

Do you haul people or large objects regularly? Unless you do, I am against it. But since it is America, to each his own.

For that type of vehicle, not really. I would kill many kittens to get that good of MPG with my truck.
