It can't be because of opposable thumbs, as apes have them as well. It can't be because of our intellect, as dolphins are smarter than we are. It can't be because of our ability to build things, as many animals build their own homes, like birds. It can't be because of our ability to breed rapidly, as rabbits have us beat by a long shot. We have the ability to destroy the world. We basically have many traits other animals don't have, maybe that's why man tend to think they are superior.
