Under Spencer's recommendation I slapped a little WD40 on those automatic seat belts and now they are no longer noisy! Now I have no complaints about them.. Hell, they even save me about $60 in insurance a year.

I hate automatic seatbelts.

I do too. God I hate em.. But now they're quieter. So I can at least drive people around without being super embarrassed. Or at least, more embarrassed then I would have been when they were extremely loud.

Do yourself a favor and pick up some "white lithium grease" and spray a little inside the area you put the WD. It will last longer.

Paint looks good. What'd you do to it ?
Doesn't look so oxidized as before.
I found this Napa gift certificate for $50 from last year under my car's back seat (took it out to clean underneath). Went to town and bought a clay bar kit, new microfiber towels, some Meguiar's wax, and Turtle Wax soap. The time the video was taken, it had been washed and waxed the day before.. Obviously it got a little dirt since then, but I took it out for another quick wash the next day.

Good man. Did you feel the difference before and after the clay ?
It's a phenominal thing once you actually experience what it does.
That looks pretty damn good. The instructions are pretty straight forward and it does wonders on the paint, no ?

I think it made a big BIG difference.
Far, far better. The paint feels almost like a new car's (using our old Venture as a reference). Very, very smooth and more glossy. Nonetheless, the trunk area is still pretty narly. I think its a little too far gone. Its hard to make out in images/videos, but its very bad.

lol at a video with me driving around with an exhaust leak..
i like my car loud like that, methinks an exhaust is in order when i figure out what's going on with my insurance and the accident and shit.

Pink Floyd ftw.

I listen to seriously so much shit. I could be listening to floyd, then the next minute singing along to Sinatra, then the next sont could be something like fucking chris brown or pretty much anything.
It depends on my mood.

I'm pretty much on the same deal as Eric. I listen to so much random shit. Oldies, rap, country, rock, metal, you name it. Set my iPod to shuffle (with over 600 songs) and you can year System of a Down, Tony Bennett, AC/DC, Rhett Akins, and The Goo Goo Dolls all in succession.
So its funny when people criticize my tastes in music, as 99% of the time whatever they like, I also like.

You drive a tempo and you were worried about squeeky seat-belts? I'm amazed the whole car isn't squeeky.
Surprisingly its not, not even on our driveway. Nothing squeaks or rattles on the whole car. Whereas the Cheyenne.. Both doors, tailgate, dashboard, and various other unknowns are not properly attached or fitted, so its incredibly loud even going under 10MPH.

Conor, I just noticed today at the junkyard... 87-91 Camrys have the same seatbelt system as Tempos.
