Couldn't think of a better title...

So due to recent events I have been having nightmares about driving. This has been going on for about 3 months now.
Yes, I have an appointment to get psychological help, but I couldn't get in until November. So in the meantime...

Recently I have started clenching my fist in my sleep during these nightmares. A few weeks ago I woke up from a nightmare and caught myself with a clenched fist, with my other hand squeezing it even tighter. I couldn't open my hand for about 15 minutes after this.
I thought that it had only happened once, but my hand and arm have started to hurt during school. It hurts to grip a pen and write.

Last night, I fell asleep before my boyfriend, and he told me I was clenching his hand in my sleep. As if I was trying to ball it up in a fist, but his hand was preventing it from doing so.

Has something similar happened to anyone here before? Any suggestions on what I should do to keep my hand  from clenching in such a way?

that sounds scary. Just try not to think about it. That might help
