How much of a chance do I have of getting into an Ivy League?
Or into any top college (that is not in the Ivy League)?

My GPA is 4.0, about two thirds of my classes are AP classes.
My SAT score is 2372/2400.
I do some community service, but nothing special.
I have travelled the world (but with my parents)
I am in the Chess Club and have won some regional tournaments.
I am a mentor in my school's program for helping disadvantaged kids.
I have had an internship with a prestigious company but I didn't do much there.

HOWEVER, I have social anxiety and am really introverted... I'm not a leader in any of the above activities. I am really awkward and shy with interviews although I'm trying to improve.

1. Would my good grades make me look more nerdy and even less well-rounded?

2. Are my extracurriculars too poor, since they are mediocre and not leadership-type?

3. Should I even mention the internship? I honestly feel like I learned nothing there. Don't want to embarrass myself...

And yeah, do you think I have a good chance with the good colleges? Thanks.

Yeah true.. but people don't usually think I'm smart because I act retarded as hell and I feel really insecure about lying about my abilities. I'm so awkward people think there's something wrong with me (and there is).

I know colleges won't know this when I apply... but I dunno, I'm not sure I can craft a lie well.

all i can say is that they look for a variety of people. you have proved the ability to challenge yourself, and maybe your college essay could be focused on the challenges your future holds, like becoming more extroverted? just an idea, but you look really good. and yes, mention the internship.

Your grades would help. What Ivy Leagues want are students who are high achievers in diverse areas IN ADDITION TO scoring straight As.

As for your internship, mention it, try to reflect on it and make up some learning points from that experience.
