Cause I really cant stand the college Im at and Ive applied to three schools for spring 09 and my sister said it probably wont happen and i really hope she wrong cause its really bad here.

tell your sister, to fall in a hole, its your money, you can transfer if you want to.

I did it last year and I got into the one school I transferred over to easily.

It just depends on what school you're working to transfer over. If it's a big school, your chances are small because if they have too many freshman apply for fall, sometimes they have them accepted for winter quarter/semester.

I did it.

I transferred after the first semester of my freshman year and then again after the second semester using the info I'd sent my first semester (where I am now uses a quarterly system so I couldn't actually come here right away).

I go to LU in VA but I applied to three state schools in MA last month.

Stastically yes, because there are less spaces. But if you're good, there's no reason why you won't be chosen for the spaces available.
