What makes a person mature? I mean i''m working and going to college but i still don't feel like an adult. Oh, mayb b/c i'm still naive in terms of sex..could that be it?

i dont feel mature either, and i have plenty of sexual experience. When it comes to being mature, sex has nothing to do with it.

Well I don't think going out and having sex a bunch is going to make you feel mature. Are you independent? That has a lot to do with it.

nope im the same i dont feel mature i work n stuff im 16 and i still feel like a school child. i think you just needto act a lot more responsible

I'm 19 but I don't feel like an adult at all. At the same time I also feel like I've somehow completely missed out on so many things and want to be 13 again.

Understanding that life is difficult, and working hard to succeed with your goals and personal relationships. Taking responsibility for your own mistakes is also a big part of it.
