This guy down the hall who liked my former roommate seems to have shifted his attention from her to me. Not in a flirty, "Now I like YOU!" way, more like in a, "My roommate took a leave of absence/flunked out over two weeks ago and your former roommate ditched me about a month ago and I like to talk and you're nice and talk to me so wanna hang out?" way. And now he's kinda...frustrating me.

He wants to hang out pretty much every day for hours at a time but I just got off the phone with my Dad when I was supposed to have been napping and now I gotta do homework and I just don't feel like hanging out. We hung out from about 8:30 to 11:30 last night, OMG...

But I always feel bad turning him down, he just sits there alone but geez.

I tried that last night but ended up listening to him talk and watching him play a computer game at least half of the time.

I know people like that.

The key is to give them deadlines.

Be like "oh yeah we can hang out but only for like an hour, I have to get homework done".

And KICK HIM OUT when you don't want to see him anymore. Don't feel obligated. Some people needs lots of attention, and if you just don't give it to them, they have nothing to play off of and they aren't a problem anymore.
