Well i was so taken by the work there i offered to become a volunteer and help out without being paid. My friends will probably think im mad but i dont know... it makes me feel good and it gets me out the house i guess. And I also am in about 8 clubs at school and student council so..... I am hoping to help out occasionally with a club for disabled young adults, but I'm not sure if that is going to run. I would like to do more, but no time. -- Posted by dunebug at 10:55 am on Nov. 3, 2008 I use to volunteer quite a bit before I was a mum, now I don't have time for it unless it's a one time thing. If I'm going to work with any regularity, it has to be paid. It's a wonderful thing to do if you have the time. You give back to your community, support an issue you care about and it looks great on a resume.
