The difference between Christians and Jews is that Christianity is in essence a follow-up to Judaism. Christians believe that YHWH had a son through a human woman, Mary, who gave birth to a child both completely human and devine, Jesus (or in some circles, Joshua bar-Joseph or Yeshua). Jesus is referred to Christians as the "Christ," which means "anointed one," with the belief that he fulfilled a prophecy of saving Israel. This moment, the resurrection, serves as the basis for Christians believing that Jesus's conquering of death meant that sin was also conquered, and he in essence, took everyone's sins on himself. Christians are intrinsically no better people than others, but the difference is they have Jesus in their life. This means that they are cleansed from all unrighteousness, and are being made holy in Gods eyes. They are often a loving community who are accepting and not as judgemental as other people. (they including specifically the poster of the above) I'll agree that sometimes they may be deluded into pride.   But that shouldnt happen, the dfference is that Jesus grace transforms them so they start living for God and not for themselves.
