My project was only late one day. One mother fucking day. Actually, only 9 mother fucking hours. That's it.

Fine, whatever. An 80% was still reachable.

But you know what I got instead? A 62%.

A fucking 62%.

Some kids didn't do all the work. Others didn't even get theirs up. And yet the class average is an 83% when most of the sites I saw weren't even structured correctly.

I think she took points off for it being late two classes rather than just one but if she did, that's her fault. I finished a homework assignment and asked her how she wanted me to show it to her and she said, "Upload it to your site." and I said, "No, I mean, just the homework assignment itself, it was assigned before we even had a site." and she, like the midget bitch she is just repeated herself, "Upload it to your site." I responded, "I didn't think we could do that since it's supposed to be finished." and she just grinned and said, "Yeah, you can."

And yet here I am, looking at a D...and this:

The date Modified was on/before 10/21 @ midnight (-20% per class) No. -2

Minus two points? Or minus two classes? Her comments aren't even readable, I don't understand it.

Individual Comments:8.25/10 - 20%
Mechanics: 4
+•All Pages ran through Validator OK?
+•Properly linked external style sheet(s)
+.-•CSS text formatting and layout
-,+•Clean mark-up and link structure
+,+•Structure and location of files

Design (contrast, repetition, alignment, proximity): 2.25
+•Clear visual hierarchy of typography
.25,+•Visual structure and color enhance content
.5•Navigation passes Trunk Test?

Content Organization & Quality: 2
+•Organization ("chunking") of content
+•Quality of web-specific content

Extra (above and beyond?)

The date Modified was on/before 10/21 @ midnight (-20% per class) No. -2

I got 9.38 points out of 15 and I can't even figure out how using those guidelines. If I add up 8.25, 4, 2.25, .25, .5, and 2, I get 17.25 which is, obviously, higher than 15. So if I take off the 4, I get 13.25.

Twenty percent of 15 is 3. So if I got a 13.25 and she took off 3 points, that'd be a 10.25 which is higher than the grade she listed. If she took off 6, that'd be a 7.25 which is lower than the grade she listed. I'm so confused.

If she did take extra points off for that, I'm talking to my Advisor. I can understand her taking points off for the first day but the edits that came after that were ones she told me to make and never once indicated that I'd lose points for them or I would have just left it.

I think I'm doomed to fail at this point. I don't think she likes me, any time I ask questions, she kind of just brushes me off. She seems to get irritated and just throws her hands in the air and walks away leaving me totally confused. And her TA texts in class and can't work in Unix any better than I can, can't work in HTML very well, and admitted to not knowing anything at all about Photoshop. And since I live off campus, I have to run around looking for help. I've seen two tutors and only one knew what he was doing, the other couldn't help.

And, as I said above, the class average for this project was an 83% but some of the sites I saw were structured improperly and lacked certain elements she specifically stated she wanted. I did everything and somehow lost 18 points.

I'm going to try but I know she'll argue back somehow. If I have to, I'll make the biggest fucking mess out of this. She's the worst Prof I've ever had, another girl can't understand her grade either. If she's going to take points off, she should take them off for shit I actually did wrong rather than just throwing random numbers at me. Even if she did take points off for it being late, the stuff above that should be higher than this other girl's and I have a good feeling it's not. What should have gotten me is the late points, not the work itself, I don't see what I did wrong.

I skipped over the massive quote.

Please take it up with your teacher and/or her superior. That is srsly wacked.

I'm going to, I just wanted to rant because I'm stressed out and depressed and I just needed to say something before I cracked.

Well, try, and if she throws a countercounterargument, I'll try to help you.

Thanks, I appreciate it but I'm actually anticipating her just trying to brush me off as she has been. I'm hoping something can be done but I just have this bad feeling that I'm going to flunk.
