okay, i know that atheism is not believing is...something greater. and agnostic means is not committing to believing or not believing is a greater existence. but what would it be called if you did believe in something bigger, but you just didn't follow organized religion? does it have a specific name?

You just have faith. There is no need to be labelled or categorized under a religious name.

IF you believe int he same man as christians, jews, muslims(God) than you ARE classified under one of them, even if u say you arent. if you dont believe in jesus, than your jewish. if you do believe in a last prophet, but he wasnt jesus, and it was muhammad, than your muslim. if you believe in both jesus AND god.than your christain. you cant just say your nothing =]

You're an agnostic theist. It means that you believe in a higher power but you don't believe that absolute knowledge of it is impossible. Most recognise that there is a chance that their higher power doesn't exist, but they believe that there's more of a chance that it does. I wouldn't say that they don't follow an organised religion, what with Discordianism (let's just call it organised for the sake of things XD) and UU welcoming people of all beliefs (re a higher power anyway), along with some Quaker congregations.

That would be non-religious theism; there is absolutely nothing to suggest that such a person is agnostic.
