Lenin Kruschev Breznechev Gorbachev -- Posted by Bud2400 at 6:33 pm on Nov. 3, 2008 The worst thing the Soviet Union did (besides killing millions of Ukrainians for their resistance to collective farming, and some stuff during WWII) was forcing all artists, authors, etc. to conform to the socialist realism artform, thereby destroying all artistic progress in Russia at the time (which Russia was rich in and has always had a very rich past in literature, art, etc. until quite recently).
