Marriage is about love. Not a "Sacred Contract Between a Man and a Woman". I'm all for gay rights. Gay people are cool. I actually like it when I'm hit on by a guy gay. Just because you and I as well believe that gays should be able to marry doesnt change the many years that religious text played the role in marriage. Marriage was more of a religious cermony until recent times. They simply define marriage... the union of a man and a  woman. It does not prevent a marriage of "convenience" or of "necessity" or any other 'loveless' union.
