Like i've heard its got error problems and shit, but i wanna get a 7th gen. console for christmas, with the new guitar hero, and my brothers already got a PS3, i just wanted to know if it was as good as it looks? :)

The elite is fine. If the error problems you are referring to are the red rings of death, then theres always a small chance. However, they have greatly improved production quality, and only a few consoles per thousand get it now. Microsoft is still strong with their warranties and makes it painless to replace.

I have the Elite, I have never had a problem from it although I have only just had it a year. The 120GB hard drive is alright too if you do a lot of downloading and put a lot of music on it liek I do.

The Elite's a good system. 360's are prone to breakage regardless of whether you get an Elite or a Pro, though. Make sure you keep your receipt to make it easy to replace if you have troubles. And the Elite is really only the better choice above the Pro if you want to be doing a lot of downloading, multimedia, or just a whole lot of game saves.

Go for it. Now the qualaty has much improved, so the chances for you gtting RROD is slim indeed. Smart move going for the 360. Then you can play exclusives on both
