There's a guy who got my e-mail address over a friend, because he thought I was cute when he saw us in town. We've been talking over e-mail, but whenever we see each other in school we both sort of look away embarrassed. What to do?

Just talk to him and you'll eventually warm up.

Strike up a conversation and determine if he is somebody you would hang out with. If he is a weirdo, just move on.

The problem is that he's 3 years above me.

Just talk to him. It doesn't matter about the age difference. You're most likely both shy so neither of you wants to make the first move - that's natural. Just stop him in the hall and say "Hi". Sure, it might be awkward at first, but if you don't try talking to him, you'll never get anywhere. Good luck :)

I don't see the problem? Just figure out what his interests are and go from there.
