Up until this point, if you looked Black, you were Black. Why all of a sudden is this being emphasized. I'm mixed as well, but considering I look Black, people write me off as being Black. Obama is not entirely of African descent. We all know that. However, his wife, and his kids are Black. You cannot argue that at all. However, the POINT is, the guy that is now in the White House is the same guy who would have been in slavery back in the 1800's, or confined to segregated schools. That is why it's a big deal. Stop trying to undermine it. Besides, most Black people are not entirely of African descent anyways, considering all the race mixing during slavery and the native american wars.
