"Obama isn't our first Black president, he's our first Bi-Racial president. Get it straight". Look, stop being an ass. Up until this point, if you looked Black, you were Black. Why all of a sudden is this being emphasized. I'm mixed as well, but considering I look Black, people write me off as being Black. Obama is not entirely of African descent. We all know that. However, his wife, and his kids are Black. You cannot argue that at all. However, the POINT is, the guy that is now in the White House is the same guy who would have been in slavery back in the 1800's, or confined to segregated schools. That is why it's a big deal. Stop trying to undermine it. Besides, most Black people are not entirely of African descent anyways, considering all the race mixing during slavery and the native american wars. Black, nowadays, pretty much refers to how you look.

He's still a c-c-c-c-c-combo breaker!

I just hope he doesn't end up like Benazir Bhutto.

He is considered Black - but genetically a mulatto.

The Negro gene pool is about 30% White I've heard.
Black, nowadays, pretty much refers to how you look.
And how you act.

I'm mixed. And all the mixed people i know like people to acknowledge the fact that they're mixed. And honestly why does it matter what people say?

Apparently, he calls HIMSELF mixed: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/us_and_americas/us_elections/article5111168.ece" target="_top">http://http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/us_and_americas/us_elections/article5111168.ece
It must be the first time in recorded history that the leader of the Free World has proudly described himself as a “mutt”. At his first press conference as President-elect, Barack Obama sought to project the gravitas that his post requires.
But obviously a lot of shelter dogs are mutts — like me.

A funny idea once occurred to me. Given that his father is Kenyan, and not a descendant of slaves, Barack Obama could feasibly be blacker than any Black American of slave-stock.

But his mom would kill that purity, correct?

Uh, no. As you claim, most Black americans have about 30% white in them anyways. The number could be even higher, considering if you were to take a bunch of black people, they don't all look the same.

Then most Blacks in the USA aren't Congoids. But, they are Negroes as that only needs "One drop" of Black blood - or really 100%-1/16 Negro ancestry.

The one drop rule doesn't biologically exist. And Obama is our first bi-racial and black president.

The One drop rule somewhat exists. If you are part black - you're part black. It's simple. Does being 1/8 Black make you 100% Black? No.
And Obama is our first bi-racial and black president.
Obama is only a Black president according to the One Drop Rule...

The one drop rule stipulates that anyone with black ancestry is 100% black and should be labeled as such. That is not true so the one drop rule doesn't exist. Being 1/8th black doesn't make you 100% black, it makes you multiracial. And I just said the one drop rule doesn't exist. Unless you can prove me otherwise.

No. The One Drop Rule states that anyone with Negro ancestry shall be labeled a Negro.
Being 1/8th black doesn't make you 100% black, it makes you multiracial.
No shit - I said that.
And I just said the one drop rule doesn't exist. Unless you can prove me otherwise.
The one drop rule socially exists in the USA. Biologically, a mulatto is as White as he is Black. But, in the USA, he is LABELED as a Black. Is that genetically proper? No, but a lot of Americans are still in the skin color fantasy.

. Jesus, I have to learn how to quote properly. I'm sick of this shit. I'm going to just learn right now.

That is what I said - without the derogatory terms. "The one drop rule stipulates that anyone with black ancestry is 100% black and should be labeled as such. That is not true so the one drop rule doesn't exist. " I see no difference between what I said and what you just reiterated.

I never said the one drop rule doesn't socially exist. I specifically said that it doesn't biologically exist and that is all that matters. What the masses believe has no bearing on right or wrong. Fact doesn't necessitate popularity.

I don't use Negro in a derogatory manner... I refrain from "Nigger" so people wouldn't whine - but I guess nothing is good enough if it isn't Politically Correct.
I see no difference between what I said and what you just reiterated.
I know. Nobody ever said that you have to be 100% Negroid to be labeled a Negro, a Black, or an "African-American".
It does not exist.
You have to say HOW. Biologically - it obviously does not. Socially, it does.

Try telling people that skin isn't race - and you'll be labeled as racist. They, for some incredibly ignorant reason, choose race by skin. I don't get it either...
