Sure, if they're in Hollywood films that bring in a huge profit. OP; it all depends on how well you do your job. If you're a lawyer, but you're a SHIT lawyer, you won't get money. If you're a surgeon who fucks up the surgeries, you won't get money. See where I'm going with this?

Go into finance. Also, plastic surgery. You can charge people whatever the hell you want.

It's all relative. You can be a great doctor but have no patients and make no money. You can be the worst actor and make no money, or be the best and make tons. It just depends on your success in that certain field you go into.

Not even. About the actor bit. You have to be in blockbuster after blockbuster. Even the most famous Actors/Actresses get hard up for money.

Not really true. You can't really earn a lot of money in the road sweeping business.

] But if you're good, you can get promotions and make your way to the top of a company. That's where it comes in. The thing is... if you don't really have any kind of degree, you most likely wouldn't work your way up that ladder. --- On a different note. I forget how my professor phrased it, but I think overall, people with a chemical engineering major on average make more money in the long run than any other career. But as someone else said, you could make near nothing even with the degree, or you could make yourself at the top of the game. Just like a doctors or lawyers... you can either be something small, or you can work your way up to something great. All depends on you and how you use your field.
