-- Posted by bexz10 at 12:09 pm on Nov. 9, 2008 So my birthday is this week Wednesday, and so that makes the upcoming weekend my birthday weekend... i was talking to my best friend who goes to college with me last night on the phone, and it turns out she's going out of town that weekend, and she didn't even think of it being my bday weekend. her voice shounded shocked and upset that she forgot... the thing is i've been talking about this weekend for a while, since in high school we could never celebrate my bday on the appropriate weekend since she'd always have stuff to do and i didnt want to celebrate with all my friends except her. i'd always have to have my 'birthday party' like months after, usually impromtu and set up by other friends when it just so happened we were all together. i know it sounds whiny, but its just really upseting me that she won't be here for the 4th year in a row. so in essense, i want to be a total bitch and guilt her out of going...i know it's selfish, and i normally don't think birthdays are that big of a deal, but i've been excited for this, my first college birthday, forever. so does anybody have any tips/advice...i feel like crap right now -- Posted by heatherette at 12:16 pm on Nov. 9, 2008 Happy early bday!<333oxooxoxoxox
