Enable it on computer you are trying to get stuff off of. do you know of a way to do it wirelessly cos i can't connect my computer to the router as it's downstairs ok i dunno how this worked but on run i just typed in \\thecomputersname and i could then access the files.. even though it doesn't show upp on my networks or anything and i can only access the vista files from xp commy, i can't access the files on xp commy while im on vista -- Posted by espresso8097 at 4:35 pm on Nov. 10, 2008 XP can be a bit picky with network folders.  Basically just mess with the settings until you get it right.
