We have to wear cocktail attire and can only bring dates from the brother school. I really don't want to go, I hate 95% of my peers, I don't like the brother school guys, I don't want to waste my money on a dress (and effing limo), I don't like their shitty music or their weak drinks.... but I promised my friends that I would go. One of my friends is really into it so I am just humouring her. Everyone is going on and on about their dresses, make-up and hairstylists and it's really bothering me. Should I go? I doubt I will be very fun, I would just sit there mocking everyone and getting pissed.... But do I have an obligation to my friend?
