ok im 16, 5'2" and I weigh 85 lbs.  When I lived with my parents I never really felt hungry a lot. In fact the smell, thought. or sight of food would make me sick. Other times I would binge eat and then feel so bad that I would drink a ton of water to just get rid of it. Since i moved into my friends house. I have started sleeping regularly [only used to get 4 hrs a nite at the most] and eating regularly. At first I had gotten my wieght all the way up to 96 lbs. I stopped obsessing over how much I weighed and only recently I weighed myself again cuz my pants were getting loose. Im back to my 85 lbs. Whats worse is I feel bad. I want to lose weight again. I have stopped sleeping regularly and I'm slipping back into old habits except worse. My friends parents are going to kick me out prob if i don't eat.... and my teachers are all bugging me cuz they think I'm too thin. Now i'm gonna be lying when I say im not anorexic. I feel bad because I like being able to see my ribs and I like having an indent for a stomach... How do I stop. I can't stop

I'm sorry... I'm starting to fall into that too, but I'm not as dangerously thin as you... try checking yourself into a rehab place.

Mind over matter.
If you think you can get past this eating disorder, and you realize that this is NOT healthy for you, you'll be able to do it.

I recommend you start slowly, eating a little more and sleeping a little more each day, then substantially working your way upwards. Binge eating is NOT the answer, slowly increasing the amount you eat is.

hmm I'd suggest talking to a doctor.  It is not good being able to see your ribs

-- Posted by phrozen at 3:23 pm on Nov. 10, 2008

Well thats the thing. I started eating again for like a month and I was all happy because I gained about 10 lbs. But once I saw the weight drop I can't even stop at all. I don't want to stop even but I know I have to because people are starting to bug me and I just want to be left alone

That is funny, because I weigh 20 pounds less then you, and I am taller then you.

I had the same problem. Quit obssessing over your weight that's why you can't sleep.

-- Posted by phrozen at 1:48 pm on Nov. 11, 2008

im not asking for a weight competition. Im just asking for advice. I really couldn't care less what you guys think is dangerously thin. Its whether i think im too thin or not

-- Posted by ZuzuS2 at 5:17 pm on Nov. 17, 2008

I think you should try and get some help. It might not be that you're not anorexic but something else. You're system, that happened to my friend once. I can see where your friends parents might kick you out. They might feel worried that your parents will blame them for you not eating or getting sick. You should at least try and eat, even if you don't feel that hungry at the moment. :D
