Pressuring me in every way that being where I am at now is just going to depress her more and ruin my life. I tell her one simple thing, "Save your money". What does she do, Blow all her money within 24 hours of receiving her paycheck. She does it every time. I think you two should come up with some sort of plan to sort out the finances and make it more equal.  Know when you two need to contribute to the bills and always have that money in the bank.  Take out what you need for stuff like that as soon as the money comes in.   If it doesn't work after trying to get things straightened out for a few months or so, you might want to have another talk with her.   -- Posted by MiaBia at 9:22 am on Nov. 11, 2008 Try to talk to her about it when you both aren't mad. Like when you're just sitting around, bring it up non-defensively and politely and she's much more likely to listen and take your feedback. Also, praise her when she doesn't blow her money, that'll encourage her to save more.
