So i've gotten into the habit of limiting what I eat to basically protein bars, salad, and steak, and I feel guilty if I eat anything else.  I have restricted most foods because they have sugar and i only eat at night because I have a really busy day.  My mom says I have an eating disorder.

Well, you do need a certain amount of sugar to stay healthy.

There are ways to eat healthy, and your not doing  it.

Sorry if I offend you, but you should really eat more. Your mom is wrong about the eating disorder, but it can be unhealthy to take away from your famine.

I tried being anorexic for about a week, but gave it up.  Comparing myself to most girls around me, I was normal.  I found other things I liked about myself - my hair, legs, etc.  You must gain self-confidence.  With self-confidence you can conquer all.  Your weight will always fluctuate, everyones does.  Personally, I don't care how much others weigh.

Yea its very possible that you have an eating disorder you moms right. If you think your fat and your not eating what you should then you have a high possibility that your anorexic. Everyone feels fat from time to time, but when you take it to the extreme is when it get serious. All foods aren't bad just because they have sugar. You body needs some sugar. You just don't need to go and eat 5 donuts. Natural sugar in foods are fine to eat. There not processed foods so its ok to eat them. Your body needs the natural sugar and some carbs and calories. If you restrict most foods then your body is going to crash and you will then hog in anything you can get your hands on. You don't want that do you? I don't think so. So just eat you daily fruits and vegetables like you should and that won't happen. A sugar product every now and then won't hurt you either, but don't go eating them everyday. I don't think you won't to go into rehab or therapy for anorexia do you? So eat the right foods and you'll be fine.

Unless your mom is a doctor she can't exactly diagnose you. But she does know something is up and is obviously worried. Go to a doc and see if you can get to the bottom of this issue.

You are overweight but you aren't unattractive. Add some exercise to your lifestyle if you can. Protein bars aren't actually good for you. Drink lots of water and don't over eat.

You aren't anorexic yet, you just aren't being healthy. You need a balanced diet. Fruit has HEALTHY sugars. Eat it.
