Do you have a child now, after having a scare. By scare, I mean you were not pregnant, but thought you were. There was a time that a boyfriend of mine insisted that I take a pregnancy test because my period was lighter than it normally was (not that it was LIGHT, but normally my periods were quite heavy, and this one seemed like "regular" heaviness). It was negative. I wasn't scared and didn't think I was pregnant. I have been pregnant once, and I was in total denial. I had skipped my period but claimed that it was due to a change in lifestyle and stress (I had just moved into the dorms for university). When I took the pregnancy test a large part of me thought it'd come up negative, even though it did not. (For the record, I do not have any children.) I have taken EC once, concurrently with taking birth control pills (that was the first time I had sex without a condom with a certain boyfriend, and he felt more comfortable with that.) Had one in June after I was raped though, thank Jeeeeesus I wasn't pregnant. Then I got pregnant a few months after going on the pill. And once when my daughter was 3 months old. I believe I miscarried. I was backpacking in a hot country and the storage of condoms was really not ideal. Plan B has saved me many a time. I have always tried to be as protected as possible, so when a condom breaks and I'm not on birth control or I miss a pill and have sex I take ECP.  (luckily this doesn't happen often) -- Posted by JEESSICCAAAxx at 9:36 am on Nov. 13, 2008 I had one scare and then I had another one and I was pregnant. now im 38 weeks pregnant having a baby boy! hopefully soon pregnancy is so beautiful but it gets old. -- Posted by Anonymous at 11:28 am on Nov. 13, 2008 I guess technically I've had two. The first time was after not using any protection for several months, and I had morning sickness-like symptoms. I was due for my period, so I took a test and it came up negative. I got my period the next day, and started taking the pill. The second time was right around a time when I was getting sick, and not taking my pill on time everyday. At the end of the month my period was much lighter than usual. I never took a pregnancy test, but I figured that since I was in the hospital, they'd be checking for that through all the frequent blood and urine tests I was getting. Now we only use birth control, and a condom only if I don't feel like being messy.
