He takes me into the fucking woods where i only have a 20 yard distance to shoot it. Of course he just wanted to piss me off so i talked to my mom and found a better place (later.) What REALLY pissed me off was, he wouldnt let me shoot it until he showed me where and he asked for my gun once he picked a spot and i handed it to him. He then started loading it. I told him do not shoot my gun, i want to shoot it first. Three times. He shot it anyways. His response was "your mom told u to get a bolt action, and you got a semi automatic, i wanted to see how fast it will shoot." First of all, i talked it over with my mom and she said this gun was fine, and secondly, he owns about 20 guns and knows damn well "how fast" a semi automatic can shoot. I wanted to be the person to break in the new gun that I had to wait till i was 18 to buy, and the dick has to shoot it first. If i tell him not to shoot it, he should respect that and listen to me. If this is your way of venting it then sorry. Let it go. You still own the gun and you get to shoot it whenever. Think of it this way. Also, i don't think he has shot a gun on more than 10 occasions in the past 5 years. Oh, and the first time i went skeet shooting with him when i was 12, i outshot him. I haven't shot with him since. He's a douchebag. You go to take it for a ride around town, but oh noes, your stepdad tells you you can't go for a drive around town, you have to stick to driving around the block. Never mind that you're legally an adult. Then, just as you're about to get in the car, your stepdad jumps in ahead of you and drives it around, after you repeatedly tell him you want to be the first to drive it, given what a momentous occasion it is. It's your first car, which you paid for, which represents your independence and transition into adulthood.
