Well i'm religious, so i'm saying the Apocalypse, but other than that, i'd say some global catastrophe like a comet, asteroid, global warming, etc

Either some big nuclear war would wipe out populations & resources killing off more people, but surely some people somewhere would find a way to survive? Or Asteroid or something... Kinda like the dinosaurs.
-- Posted by Cruizer at 3:39 am on Nov. 13, 2008
non xept astroids will ENTIRELY wipe out humans

I guess the challenge is that we now have the technology to survive that kind of thing. There are also challenges to scientific advancement though, which makes it trickier.

we will probably just run out of resources and go back to the dark ages! that would probably be fun

isn't that related to religion? Armageddon in 2012 is the apocalypse.
-- Posted by Anwar80 at 3:43 am on Nov. 13, 2008
Maybe an alien invasion or an alien virus from the space
-- Posted by roflfuckyou at 3:43 am on Nov. 13, 2008

No, its completely on its own. Due to its absurdness. I would say some of the others are a stretch but this one is near the top. If not the top. It doesn't even say how it will end. Just "end." The supposed Armageddon in 2012 is AN apocalypse. And Armageddon will not happen in 2012 anyway. We can't put a date on it.

Ahhh, very intelligent of you. I forgot that option.

I don't think we can really know one way or the other.

Somehow I don't think he is asking for the truth so much as unsubstantiated (but preferably interesting) conjecture.

Well, if I had to say that humans would die out, it would simply be this version of humans dying out, as a higher species of humans had evolved who did it better, and we just couldn't keep up with them, most likely as the result of some sort of natural disaster like the kinds often described on NatGeo.

Either local environment (local of wherever the human race happens to end up, anyway), or the LHC making a black hole that refuses to decay or turning us into a quark star or something.
