A few places offer XP, but they still have to include a Vista license. They simply charge you for Vista, then charge you again for XP, then charge you an extra fee to downgrade it. Thats how it is, and thats how MS requires it. Edit: As for RAM, 3gb will be fine. And be happy its Vista! That system should run it good, and you will probably love it. Just be sure to disable UAC if you find it annoying. Its probably Vista x32, so getting more RAM would be pointless, since it wouldnt recognize more than 3gb. -- Posted by espresso8097 at 8:29 pm on Nov. 13, 2008 So far it looks decent, what kind of graphics does it have?  Integrated would drag you down, dedicated is where is ideal. -- Posted by mcodeath at 4:26 am on Nov. 14, 2008 Looks pretty decents, would depend what you plan on using the laptop for though as to if its fast enough for your needs or not.
