she doesn't want me to have any friends. i've always listened to her and stayed home. i was always a hermit and a loner. well now i have friends and she still acts like a crazy neurotic and doesn't want me to hang out with them. i hang out with them anyways and the punishment is i have to support myself. she wont give me gas money or pay for my car insurance even though i help her babysit and do my chores every day before going to hang out with my friends. im 17 and she has told me to move out 4 different times in the last 6 months that i've started having friends. i hate being treated like this and she wont listen to me.

Ah, thats really weird. I would get a job and move in with a relative. Because she is treating you unfairly.

Maybe start with getting a job and try cutting back on using ur car so much so u dont need to have so much money for gas. Maybe ur friends culd drive sometimes. Maybe think about going to collage or moving in with a friend for a little while. Eventually things will pick up.

That sucks, just get a job. Tell her to learn to accept it.
