Ok so im gunna try out for a musical at my school and ive never tried out for a school production before. How do you pick a good dialoge for your audition? If it helps the musical is Guys and Dolls Thank lots

i always ask for a copy of the scipt and pick out my charicter then read a few things she says

pick something dramatic or something long and heroic and don't just read it put feeling into it

Choose a monologue from the script, the same gender as you, someone that you feel you can portray well. Maybe try out for a lead, even if you don't intend to be the lead, because if you try out for a very very small part, you might not be chosen because the director might question how you think of yourself.

What part are you trying out for? Choose a monologue. And pick any song. Try "Sit down your rocking the boat". Epic song. I did that show last year. I was Arvide, Sara's grandfather.
