Don't you have your book? it's been a while since i learned this so i don't remember which ones take sein and which ones take haben -- Posted by Colleen35 at 6:51 pm on Nov. 19, 2008 "bekommen" means "receive"; it takes "haben" in the past because it's transitive.  Missing Piece is close, but it's "aufgehört".
