3. Danach Fill in the Blank 05 er endlich mit seiner Arbeit Fill in the Blank 06 (aufhören). 4. Zum Geburtstag Fill in the Blank 07 Kurt einen schönen Anzug Fill in the Blank 08 (bekommen). What should be in the blanks? The sentences are speaking in past tense.

im learning german past tense now too...its terrible.

first blanks in each sentence should be a form of haben or sein (depending on the subject and verb) and the past tense of the verb goes in the second blanks Since I haven't learned the past tense for aufhoren then idk which words you would use but I don't believe bekommen changes when put in past tense

actually I think the past tense of aufhoren would be either aufgehoren or aufgehort and in bekommen you don't add the -ge-

it could be. Don't you have your book? it's been a while since i learned this so i don't remember which ones take sein and which ones take haben

"bekommen" means "receive"; it takes "haben" in the past because it's transitive. Missing Piece is close, but it's "aufgehört".
