The moon was stained scarlet tonight Did you see it? Was it bleeding? The smoke hung on city lights like silk Did you see it? Was it suffocating? Or did love blind you, as it always does? Geryon must be proud by now Of the raging red and of our love The smell of burning embers And of forbidden sex The moon hung low tonight Her crimson costume glazing our eyes As love blinded us once again. [California fires suck. I breathed in more smoke than oxygen today. And yes, the moon really was, in fact, red tonight.]

that is pretty good. yes the fires do suck, all the smoke is really messing with my asthma... the moon did look really cool tonight but last night it was even better.

Kinda creepy when that happens, I remember the sun being bright red one night as it was setting when there were a bunch of fires up here in the bay area.
